A rare and substantial original animation production set from the iconic boxing anime Hajime no Ippo, presenting a dynamic sparring sequence between two fighters during a training session.

This sequence captures the progression of a boxing exchange, moving from a guarded stance to the extension of a punch. The drawings reveal the careful choreography and physical mechanics that make the series’ fight animation so distinctive, with strong body movement, weight shifts and striking silhouettes that define the visual language of the show.

The set includes more than 70 original production drawings, allowing the movement to be followed frame by frame through several stages of the traditional hand-drawn animation process.
