Hajime no Ippo: original Madhouse production art

Adapted from George Morikawa’s long-running boxing manga, Hajime no Ippo became one of the defining sports anime of its generation. Madhouse’s television adaptation is known for forceful fight choreography, expressive character animation and carefully constructed impact frames.

This collection includes original cels, douga, genga, storyboards, timing sheets and studio material featuring Ippo Makunouchi, Ichiro Miyata, Eiji Date and other key characters. Each piece is a unique production artifact from the traditional animation workflow.
