Description

Original Japanese animation production artwork from Kinnikuman.

A strong Ramenman production cel with a classic fighting stance, clenched fists and a particularly clean, muscular pose. The matching douga is separate, making this a more complete and displayable production set than a stuck cel/douga pair.

Series: Kinnikuman (1983–1986)
Character: Ramenman
Original creators: Yudetamago
Studio: Toei Animation
Artwork: Original hand-painted production cel + separate matching douga

The douga carries production annotations and the sequence marking A19. Vintage original production artwork with the usual signs of age and studio handling.

About

Production art from anime (before the digital era) refers to the hand-crafted artwork created during the animation process. This includes Cels (hand-painted frames), Dougas (preliminary sketches), Storyboards (scene planning), and backgrounds—all essential in bringing anime to life. These unique, tangible pieces capture the artistry and craftsmanship of legendary animators and offer a direct connection to the creative process behind iconic anime films and series.
