An exceptional museum-level production set from Fist of the North Star.

This striking close-up of Kenshiro combines an original hand-painted production cel with its original production background, two original douga drawings and the studio production sheet from the cut.

The expression is pure Hokuto no Ken: severe brow, elongated nose, sculpted cheekbones and intense dramatic modeling. The drawing style is characteristic of Masami Suda, whose interpretation of Kenshiro defined much of the visual identity of the series. This set is attributed directly to Suda on the basis of the drawing style and production characteristics.

The accompanying drawings preserve the facial construction and correction work behind the final painted cel, while the studio sheet anchors the artwork to the original production workflow. Together, the materials form a rare and unusually complete record of a single animated shot.
