Bikkuriman: original Japanese animation production art

The Bikkuriman anime franchise emerged from the enormous success of Lotte’s collectible sticker series and developed its own exuberant world of heroes, demons and comic fantasy. Its animated adaptations became a distinctive part of late twentieth century Japanese popular culture.

This collection includes original hand painted production cels and pencil douga from Bikkuriman and Super Bikkuriman, preserving physical studio material from the traditional animation workflow.
