Transformers Beast Wars Neo (1999) – Big Convoy – Original Production Cel + Douga

Big Convoy | Transformers Beast Wars Neo (1999)

An outstanding original hand painted animation cel of Big Convoy, the central heroic Transformer of the Japanese television series Super Lifeform Transformers: Beast Wars Neo (1999). The powerful close composition captures the blue helmet and red mechanical armour with striking clarity, making this a particularly compelling display piece from the series.

Offered with its corresponding original production douga, showing the drawing and colour indications used in the animation process. The douga has visible paint transfer and marks, documented in the photographs. The background visible in the presentation is a paper reproduction, not an original painted production background.

The series was produced by Ashi Productions for the Japanese Transformers franchise. Big Convoy, whose alternate mode is a woolly mammoth, is one of its defining characters.
