Mauer Gallery Berlin
Mauer Gallery is an independent art gallery and collectors’ space in Berlin, presenting contemporary art alongside original Japanese animation art and vintage Japanese collectibles.
Located at Harzer Strasse 112 in Berlin, the gallery brings together works by contemporary artists including Julia Gaudard, RIOT 1394, Maja Huerst and Ben & Julia with a major collection of original anime production art.

Original Japanese Animation Art
The gallery presents hundreds of original Japanese animation artworks including hand painted production cels, douga, genga and original backgrounds from classic anime series and films. The collection includes works connected to Akira Toriyama, Rumiko Takahashi, Go Nagai, Hokuto no Ken, Dr. Slump, Ranma ½, Sailor Moon, Slam Dunk and many more.
Vintage Japanese Collectibles
Beyond the works available online, the gallery holds an extensive archive of Japanese pop culture material: approximately 8,000 vintage trading cards, around 200 Japanese artbooks and publications, LaserDiscs and other original printed and collectible material. Visitors can discover selections from this archive at the gallery.
